Meet the team at GAFS

Director - Accountant CPA, SMSF Auditor

John and his wife Jess founded Gippsland Accounting in 2018. With over 10 years of experience as an accountant, John is a fully qualified CPA, Registered Tax Agent, and Registered SMSF Auditor. 

He brings extensive knowledge of taxation laws, business advisory, and business acumen to the practice. In addition to his role as a Director at GAFS, John and Jess are parents to three young boys. Outside of his professional commitments, John enjoys running, soccer, and horse racing. 

Director - Plan Manager 

Jess started GAFS with John in 2018. They live in Drouin and have 3 young boys. Jess has worked in Administration and Client Services for 15 years and enjoys her daily interactions with the clients. 

Along with managing the office, Jess handles all the Marketing and Advertising for GAFS.

Outside of the office Jess loves spending time with her dogs, reading and catching up with friends and family. 

Accountant CPA 

Ebony holds a Bachelor of Business in both Accounting and Management, with a specialization in Taxation. As a fully qualified CPA, she brings 6 years of experience from her role at GAFS, where she has progressed from a trainee accountant to a fully qualified professional. Ebony's expertise shines through in her work with BAS and Self Managed Superfunds. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys playing sports.

Accountant CPA, 

As a registered tax agent and with over 20 years of experience as a CPA, Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Specializing in business advisory, tax preparation, and XERO, Vanessa has a proven track record of helping clients achieve their financial goals. Her dedication to accuracy and excellence ensures that every client receives the highest level of service. When she's not crunching numbers, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters, singing, dancing, and seeing theatre shows. 

Accountant 

Ron brings with him his extensive experience in Taxation and client management. 

Ron joined GAFS in 2018 and has 10 + years experience as a tax consultant. His  considerable knowledge and  familiarity with small business management has been a welcome addition to the team at GAFS.  

Outside of the office, Ron is an active community member and enjoys lawn bowls. 

Administration 

 Rebecca brings extensive experience in administration, customer service, management, and self-managed super funds. Her professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to her role ensure that our clients are always in excellent hands. Rebecca’s ability to efficiently manage tasks, coupled with her exceptional problem-solving skills, allows her to deliver outstanding results consistently. Her comprehensive knowledge and expertise make her an invaluable asset to our team.
